How to translate Zemer

  • If a translation is already filled in, check it, fix it if needed, then click Save.
  • Keep placeholders like %1$s, %d and %s exactly as they are. Weblate will not save a line that drops one.
  • Keep it short: most lines are buttons, tabs and menu items on a phone screen.
  • Do not translate brand names: Zemer, YouTube, Google, GitHub.
  • For Jewish terms (Shabbos, Kumzitz, Chasuna and so on) use the form your community uses, and check the glossary.
  • Not sure? Click Suggest instead of Save, or leave a comment on the line.
